TASTING NOTES

Sight : Clean, clear and full-bodied. Intense cherry red in colour with purplish hints typical of its youth.
Smell : Clean and intense on the nose, with primary aromas of ripe fruit (prunes) and roasted red peppers both before and after agitation, with dark-roasted base notes of toasted vanilla.
Taste : The wine has a medium, tannic, meaty palate which is well structured. Well-balanced acidity offers freshness and highlights the hints of ripe fruit and roasted red peppers.
Finish : Intense, fruity finish. Very pleasant, moderately lingering aftertaste.
Food pairing : An excellent accompaniment to cheeses, meats and stews.
Best served :  Between 14º and 16ºC.

Originally from the French region of Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon wines are known for their consistency and longevity. The wine obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes is deep red in color with purple hints. It is a highly aromatic full-bodied wine with high alcohol content that becomes more refined after ageing. Wines made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and blended with other varieties produce higher quality, better tasting wines. In general, wines made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are vigorous, richly aromatic and have a very elegant bouquet.
